Mr. SAFARI Jean Bosco – (Agribusiness Development Specialist – MBA holder in Project Management): Mr. SAFARI is an Economist/Business Administrator with more than twenty years’ experience in agribusiness, business administration and market linkages, promoting the availability and use of agriculture inputs, promoting output marketing in EAC, agribusiness advisory, agro-dealers development and agro services for improving agricultural yields, and providing financial services advisory. He is the CEO of the Agribusiness Focused Partnership Organization” AGRIFOP” since 2013 developing agriculture input marketing. He worked as the CEO of Trusted Improved Seeds Company Ltd-TRI-SEEDS Co Ltd since 2019 to September 2024 involved in seed production, processing and marketing. He has been working with the International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC), since June 2010 to May 2013 as project coordinator of RADD (Rwanda Agro-dealers Development Project) and COMRAP (COMESA REGIONAL AGRICULTURE INPUT PROGRAM), in developing capacity and network of knowledgeable agro-dealers. During 6 years, he has worked in manufacturing and commercialization of fertilizers as Marketing Director at SOPAV ltd (Société Pour la Production des Aliments des Végétaux) and while working with SOPAV he was closely collaborating with MINAGRI in subsidy program and fertilizer distribution, and IFDC-CATALIST in agro-dealership development within SOPAV’s network. Mr Jean Bosco SAFARI sits in Board of Directors for different in agribusiness including Société Agro-Pastorale du Rwanda Group-SODAR Group.
